One-in-12 (8%) male company car drivers do not use contact lenses or glasses while driving even though they need them. The Driving attitudes survey from Alphabet has also revealed that 3% of women who drive company cars regularly, do so without wearing glasses or contact lenses when they should be using them. On a positive note, the vast majority (90%) of female company car drivers do wear glasses or contacts if needed, although fewer men (78%) adhere to health and safety rules in the same situation.
