Capgemini has renewed its fleet management outsourcing contract with Leasedrive and is focusing on sustainability targets.
The consulting, technology and outsourcing firm offers a salary sacrifice car scheme to its 3,500 UK employees, who can opt into the scheme anytime throughout the year.
Capgemini is also working with Leasedrive on achieving its sustainability targets by reducing the carbon dioxide (CO2) levels of its fleet.
Ruth Makepeace, employee benefits manager at Capgemini, said: “In the last 18 months we have seen a 30% increase in company car scheme take-up.
“This increase is testament to the collaborative work that has taken place between Capgemini, the driver helpdesk and our account manager.”
Roddy Graham, commercial director at Leasedrive, added: “In terms of greener cars, Capgemini is already running hybrid vehicles and is now evaluating electric vehicles to assess them for possible addition in the future.”
