Barloworld Handling has renewed its fleet contract with Alphabet for a third consecutive year.

The renewed contract, which came after a 10-way re-tendering process, sees Alphabet continue to manage the lift truck distributor's fleet of 650 cars and vans.

Alan Thackray, vehicle contract and facility manager at Barloworld Handling, said: “The tender process demonstrated to us that Alphabet offered the best mix of services and continuous improvement to match our needs and to go on delivering long-term value.

"At the moment we are setting our fleet strategy for the next few years. Alphabet's consulting team works with us to move the fleet forward and identify areas for greater efficiency, often in areas that we had not looked at before.”
