EXCLUSIVE: The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) has launched a new online payslip tool to help employees understand their pay statement.
The tool has been introduced to mark National Payroll Week 2012, which takes place between 3-7 September.
Lindsay Melvin, chief executive at the CIPP, said: “Based on our research, we found that workers want to learn more about the details on their payslip.
“We hope that this online tool will decipher some of the information employees find confusing.”
The tool is available at www.understandingyourpayslip.co.uk.
The CIPP is also holding a charity art auction during the week to raise money for the Birmingham Centre for Arts Therapies.
The theme for this year’s National Payroll Week is ‘Driving payroll forward’.
