Something for the weekend: Calvin Harris is the highest-paid DJ in the world, raking in $63 million (approximately £47.9m) over the last year, according to research by Forbes.
Its Electronic cash kings 2016 list, which looks at the pre-tax earnings of DJs between June 2015 and June 2016, found that the top 10 earners pulled in an impressive $270.5 million (£205.5m) this year between them, although this is down 1% on last year’s figures.
Harris, who is known for hits such as This is what you came for, featuring Rihanna, as well as his past romance with US singer Taylor Swift, can charge $400,000 (£303,859) for just one gig in Las Vegas.
Avicci and Afrojack are just outside of this year's top 10 highest-paid DJs cohort, earning $14.5 million (£11m) and $15 million (£11.4m), respectively.
