The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has launched a cycle-to-work scheme this month after requests were made for the benefit following staff surveys.

Employees were asked what benefits they wanted as part of a feasibility study into a flexible benefits scheme. However, the CAA has decided not to go ahead with flex this stage.

Instead, the CAA is to use the data collected from the surveys to launch the benefits identified as the most popular among staff.

Alan Croxford, human resources adviser, said: "The scheme is being put in place after findings were taken from [the feasibility study], as well as general requests from groups of staff."

The cycle-to-work scheme fits with the CAA's aims of encouraging wellbeing at work, as well as its green agenda.
