The Employee Benefits Awards 2021 draws closer each week, with the 19th annual event returning to an in-person ceremony once more in just shy of two months.
This year’s finalists have now been revealed and all 23 accolades will be awarded on Friday 12 November at a brand new venue for this year: Old Billingsgate in London. 2021’s categories include Best Benefits to Support Work-Life Balance, Best Flexible Benefits Plan and Best Mental Health Strategy.
The Best Benefits Communications award celebrates having an effective and innovative approach to benefits communications, be it face-to-face, print, social or digital media. Employers that have been shortlisted for this award include banking group BNP Paribas, application services business F5 Networks, pharmacy chain Lindsay and Gilmour Pharmacy, construction engineering organisation Lloyd's Register, Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, and media business WarnerMedia.
Helen Curl, group commercial director and event director for the Employee Benefits portfolio, said that she “genuinely can’t wait” to be in a room full of guests cheering on the winners and having time to meet and celebrate with colleagues and customers.
“The past 18 months have been a time of enormous change in the UK workplace. How we engage, motivate and support our employees has grown in importance; through the challenges of the pandemic and now, as the race to attract and retain talent gains pace. We have championed the employee reward and benefit sector for more than 20 years. The unique set of award categories enable us to identify and recognise the very best initiatives and individuals in our sector,” she said.
The Employee Benefits Awards 2021 celebrate the most exciting HR reward and benefits strategies, uplifting teams and outstanding individuals in the industry over the past year. The daytime event will include a drinks reception, three-course meal, entertainment and an opportunity to network with industry professionals, along with the actual ceremony.
