EXCLUSIVE: In order to adapt to future challenges in the industry, fewer than three in 10 (28%) intend to use better or more targeted communications, according to research by Employee Benefits.

The Benefits research 2019 report canvassed the views of 290 HR decision-makers, and was published in May 2019. It also found that the proportion of respondents planning to improve communications has seen a huge drop from the 71% who said this last year.

Similarly, while half (50%) said they would more closely align reward strategy to business strategy last year, this was cited by fewer than one in five (18%) this year.

Better integration of a wider range of technology within the benefits offering has seen a similar-sized drop, from 49% down to 18%.
