BNP-Paribas

International banking organisation BNP Paribas was awarded the coveted Grand Prix title at the Employee Benefits Awards 2019.

The organisation was lauded for its innovative use of technology and its future-thinking approach to benefits communications, which culminated in impressive engagement and take-up statistics.

The Grand Prix is awarded to the winner of one of the other categories recognised at the awards, marking the best of the best of the year's successes. BNP Paribas also took home the Best use of benefits technology award.

Ian Hodson, head of reward at the University of Lincoln, received the prestigious Employee benefits professional of the year award, while Benefits team of the year went to construction organisation Kier Group.

The Employee Benefits Awards and Summer Party 2019, in association with Aon, took place at The Pavilion at The Tower of London on Friday 7 June 2019.

Tom Hiles, group benefits manager at BNP Paribas, said: “It’s something [that] hasn’t been done before, at least not in this field. But actually, it works really well, so hopefully [we won] for that reason; it was a bit of new technology. I’m really happy because it’s a good category.”

Congratulations to all of this year’s winners, highly commended entries and shortlisted finalists, all of which represented excellence in the field of reward and benefits.

Employee Benefits would like to thank our event sponsors, esteemed judging panel, and all of the organisations that entered the awards.
