Adam Kingl, executive director of thought leadership at the London Business School Executive Education, will deliver the opening keynote address at Employee Benefits Connect 2017 on Wednesday 1 March.
In the opening keynote session, ‘The future of work and the workplace’, Kingl will discuss new paradigms of work and leadership, and outline the technical trends that are set to change the workplace. He will also highlight the factors that help attract and retain generation Y, and examine how this generation will lead organisations in the future.
During the one-day event, delegates will have the opportunity to gain insights from industry experts across six conference streams: holistic wellbeing; technology and innovation; employee engagement; driving performance; talent management; and data analytics.
In the talent management stream, Adam Gibson, strategic workforce planning leader at the Metropolitan Police, will highlight how employees’ priorities and their approach to work are changing. The session, ‘Leveraging workforce planning and people analytics for smarter decisions’, will also investigate how caring responsibilities, the gender pay gap, and equality and diversity will shape the future work model and drive workforce strategy.
The data analytics conference stream will feature Eric Barratt, healthy workforce programme manager at NHS England. In a session titled 'Driving positive behaviour for a healthier workplace', Barratt will discuss the long-term goals for health and wellbeing at work in the NHS, and how data can be utilised to encourage behavioural change.
