More than a third (35%) of UK organisations have increased salaries in the past 12 months, according to research by global workplace provider Regus.
Its Business confidence index, which has charted fluctuations in business confidence over the past five years and surveyed 22,000 business respondents from 100 countries, found that less than a fifth (19%) have offered more employee benefits.
It also found that nearly a third (29%) increased flexible-working options for staff over the past 12 months.
The report found that an increase in salaries was linked to business growth, with nearly two-thirds (63%) of UK businesses reporting a rise in revenues in the past year.
