Walker moves into Unum HR role

Liz Walker has been appointed as HR director at employee benefits provider Unum. Previously working as head of key accounts for the organisation, Walker has been an employee at Unum for over 20 years, specifically within the US sales team for the past 16 years. She will help provide a modern HR service delivery.

Nolan promoted at CIMA

Angela Nolan has been announced as the director of HR and workplace performance at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA). Nolan will be developing staff and workplace strategies as well as leading global HR and workplace teams. Previously she worked as the head of HR at CIMA, as well as in the financial sector as a HR business partner.

Lamey joins First Names Group

Teresa Lamey is joining First Names Group as chief HR officer. Lamey will be responsible for recruitment, talent development and training, reward and recognition, business partnering and HR operations support. She will also sit on the management and operations committees. Lamey has moved from TMF Group where she was global head of HR.

Briggs becomes chairman at ABI

Andy Briggs is nominated to become the next chairman of the Association of British Insurers board (ABI), taking up the role in October. Briggs is currently chief executive officer at Aviva UK Life and chairman of Aviva Global Life. He already has involvement with the board, acting as deputy chairman since November 2015 and is chairman of the ABI Audit Committee.

Kerr joins Reality HR

Sue Kerr has joined Reality HR as HR consultant, bringing 25 years of industry experience to the post. In her new role, Kerr will cover all aspects of HR from training and recruitment to performance management and disciplinary procedures. She will also act as HR director for a number of clients. She was previously HR advisory manager at Mouchel.

Reality HR hire King

Louise King has accepted a position with Reality HR as an administration executive. Her new role is varied and can include producing presentations, helping with branding, diary management, organising travel and supporting other staff as required. She has previously worked for the NHS and Qolcom.
