Wood Group PSN has changed its occupational health services for its 30,000 employees.
The oil services provider, which employs both onshore and offshore staff in 40 countries, previously offered an occupational health scheme provided by Capita and another supplier.
It has signed a £6-million, three-year contract with Capita, which will deliver all the elements of the scheme.
Employees will have access to a managed service from a single occupational health firm, access to specialist medics and international healthcare.
Janette Hiscock, managing director, global assistance and energy medical services at Capita Health and Wellbeing, said: “Wood Group PSN is a hugely respected firm in the oil and gas industry and Capita has been working with it for more than 20 years.
“It shows a huge commitment from Wood Group PSN, both to Capita and, more importantly, the health and wellbeing of its workforce.”
