Sapient has used internal resources to communicate employee benefits during tough economic times, said Anne Teggart (pictured), European compensation and benefits lead at the outsourcing firm, during an interview with Debbie Lovewell, deputy editor of Employee Benefits.
She added: “We have an EU-[wide] benefits mailbox that we send all of our emails from so it’s instantly recognisable to people.
“We’ve [also] used a newsletter, which we [send] on a quarterly basis, and each of our HR teams has a focus [on a different area] each quarter.”
Teggart explained that the organisation used its internal web developers to design communications systems for the Sapient reward team.
She said: “We’re not spending money, per se, on external resources, so that’s really, really helped us.”
