Towry has held a wellbeing day to promote benefits to staff and raise awareness of key health issues.

Employees at the wealth adviser's Bracknell and London offices took part in onsite mini health screenings carried out by trained wellbeing specialists, and had the opportunity to have flu jabs. Instructors provided 10-minute taster sessions on yoga, pilates, zumba, spinning and aerobics. Towry's wellbeing provider, Axa Icas, also ran seminars on stress management and alcohol awareness.

The event promoted Towry's wellbeing benefits to the 250 staff who joined the business when it acquired Edward Jones last year.

Staff based at Towry's other locations can use vouchers for flu jabs at local pharmacies, and the firm's wellbeing specialists will tour the country with the mini health screening kit. The seminar presentations will be available on the company's intranet site.

Richard Higginson, head of reward at Towry, said: "We want people to be much more aware of what we have got on offer from a wellbeing perspective."
