Stonegate Pub Company has introduced a bonus scheme for assistant managers.

The scheme will see assistant managers receive more than £300 a quarter if they help to deliver and exceed targets in the organisation’s pubs.

New starters will be eligible for the bonus from day one.

The hospitality firm, which was formed in November 2010, has implemented the new scheme following feedback from roadshows, and opted for a bonus scheme that would be transparent and easy to understand.

The assistant manager bonus scheme joins the other reward initiatives currently run by Stonegate Pub Company for its staff: the managers’ bonus scheme, kitchen managers’ scheme and a corporate bonus scheme, which rewards retail business managers, head office and support staff.

Ian Payne, chairman at Stonegate Pub Company, said: “Since Stonegate was formed last year, I have been adamant that we will have a bonus scheme that rewards our population of assistant managers, who I believe are an essential part of the future success of the company.

“Our bonus scheme, which comes into effect for quarter four of the financial year, underpins the key Stonegate principles of driving sales and profit.”
