Specsavers has appointed Capita Hartshead to provide pensions consultancy services to help increase engagement among employees.
The optical retailer is keen to promote the benefits of its group personal pension (GPP) plan across its 18,000 employees, and target strategic communications to meet individual needs.
Capita Hartshead will also provide a full scheme governance service under the five-year contract.
Sue Curley, consulting director at Capita Hartshead, said: “The first step in the process will be to review the existing Specsavers GPP arrangements, taking into account their auto-enrolment responsibilities.
“In addition to using digital media, crucial with a workforce of this size, our communications and design consultants will help deliver a communications strategy to engage with employees and encourage membership of the GPP.”
