Quintiles has changed providers for its private medical insurance (PMI) and employee assistance programme (EAP), aiming for a holistic approach to staff health and wellbeing.
In April, the clinical research outsourcing company switched to Cigna for its PMI and to Workplace Options to provide counselling through an EAP to its 2,200 UK employees.
It decided to switch providers when they came up for renewal. Debra Corey, senior director, compensation and benefits, EMEA, said: “We make sure that in all our benefits programmes, we are doing whatever we can to support employees’ health.”
Quintiles communicated the changes using webinars and benefits roadshows.
