The Pensions Management Institute (PMI) has announced the appointment of Susan Andrews as its new president.
Andrews will take over from current president, Mike Sullivan, at the PMI’s annual general meeting on 7 July 2001.
Andrews was elected to the PMI council in 2001 and became vice president in 2010. She chaired its membership committee and acted as trustee of the PMI’s own pension fund.
Andrews is a director of Trustee Solutions, a pensions partner at Pinsent Masons, and a committee member of the Independent Pension Trustee Group.
Vince Linnane, chief executive of the PMI, said: “Susan is one of the most dynamic pensions lawyers in the UK. She will bring a challenging and analytical mind, and the drive and commitment to lead the PMI forward.
“There is a number of exciting PMI initiatives being launched in the coming months and it is great that we will have such a committed president at this important time.”
