EXCLUSIVE: Nationwide will add membership in the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) and expand its range of shopping vouchers, rechargeable cards and NCP car parking locations when it opens the enrolment window for its 2013 flexible benefits scheme.

The flex enrolment window for 2013 opens on 5 October and closes 16 November. The benefits go live on 1 January 2013.

Rosemary Crabb, flexible benefits manager at Nationwide, said: “We always like to add in one or two new benefits each year and also improve on existing benefits to keep the offering fresh and attractive.”

The RHS membership will be offered for the first time through a flexible benefits scheme. The shopping vouchers and rechargeable cards are provided by Xexec, with 68 options available to staff. The NCP car parking will be available at 142 locations across the UK.

The building society’s Youchoose flex scheme is open to 18,000 employees across the Nationwide, Cheshire, Derbyshire and Dumfermline building society brands.
