Law firm Mills and Reeve is to introduce on-site health screening for its 800 staff via a salary sacrifice arrangement.
It will offer the perk through its flexible benefits scheme and plans to launch screenings in April for staff at its Birmingham office before rolling it out to its other five offices later this year.
The screenings, provided by Screenetics, comprise a series of non-invasive tests that take 60 minutes, including cholesterol analysis, diabetes and iron level tests and a scan for osteoporosis.
Samantha Neaves, reward manager at Mills and Reeve, said: "It was fantastic to sit down with a consultant and go through your results there and then."
The firm previously offered off-site health screening, provided by Bupa. Neaves said Mills and Reeve hoped that providing the benefit on-site would result in a take-up rate of 60% for new screenings. "Many people are too busy to take time out for regular health checks, but we are keen to get employees to get and stay healthy."
