Mercer has signed an agreement to acquire ORC Worldwide, to further strengthen its services as a global provider of human resource intelligence.
Mercer and ORC are both known for their employee mobility information and related administrative applications, international talent management consulting, and compensation and workforce data.

The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2010. The terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
