MacLeod leads focus on HR strategy

A focus on human resources strategy is new for Employee Benefits Live 2012.

The second day, 26 September, features a keynote speech on employee engagement by David MacLeod, co-author of the MacLeod Report, an update of which is due out in October, plus three seminars aimed at HR generalists with benefits responsibilities.

In these sessions, Mandy Flatley, HR director at Kiddicare, and Anthony York, director at Only People, will focus on how to integrate management and HR strategy with reward policy and practice.

Lawrence Cramer, head of HR at the YHA, and Paul Bissell, head of reward at Cable and Wireless Worldwide, will offer advice on using low-cost or no-cost incentive schemes.

Debra Corey, senior director compensation and benefits, EMEA, and Rob Horrocks, finance director, operating group, at Merlin Entertainment Group will give a view from the finance director’s perspective on managing pay and benefit costs.
