Kantar Wordpanel has boosted the take-up of its group personal pension (GPP) plan following a communications exercise.

The membership of the firm’s GPP scheme increased from 72% in 2011 to 79% in 2012, following a series of communications with provider JLT Online Benefits in February.

The sessions also informed staff about auto-enrolment and the pension reforms, which will impact on the firm from 2013.

Hema Patel, compensation and benefits manager at Kantar Worldpanel, said: “We did start to tell staff that if they don’t enroll now, they will be enrolled later anyway, so they might as well take advantage of the scheme from now.”

The firm also introduced a monthly onsite subsidised massage with wellbeing organisation Feel Good. Employees can book a 20-minute session during work time. The benefit has had a 4% take-up since it was launched in March.
