Personify has been designed to meet the increasing demands of employees, HR departments and management by consolidating all benefits data in one web-based platform, enabling all parties to make better-informed decisions.

Personify is focused on delivering a highly personalised solution for each employee and is modular so it can grow with the needs of an expanding company. This is underpinned by the company’s consultative approach to employee benefits and financial education.

Personalised to each individual member of staff, the Personify online platform is designed as a holistic approach to support the full spectrum of physical, emotional and financial wellbeing of staff. It pulls in key HR, payroll and benefits data so that information can be presented in a variety of ways for employees to clearly see the complete picture of their benefits. It offers multiple enrolment windows too, which gives individuals greater flexibility to update their preferences as their lifestyle and requirements change.

Personify’s modular design allows the employer to choose the most effective solution now but with the knowledge that extra functionality can be added as the needs of the company evolve, with no need to select a new provider in future. It will also improve efficiencies by receiving data from payroll, HR, employees and providers and return this to relevant parties, all in one processing cycle. Additionally it will automatically update key legislative changes (such as tax bands for net pay modelling). In short, Personify will streamline the process of managing employee benefits across different locations, countries, languages and currencies, and assists HR departments in maximising value for money and the positive impact of the benefits offered.

Within a single view, Personify’s robust reporting tools allow all benefits to be aligned with corporate objectives (such as reducing absence or improving the health or financial awareness of employees), assisting management in identifying whether a benefits programme is meeting clearly defined KPIs.

Being externally hosted, there is no requirement for the new platform to be installed on internal IT infrastructure and it is compatible with all main browser and screen resolutions, so employees can securely access data from home, work and on the move. The platform employs a three-tier security model and all traffic between each of these tiers is encrypted to ensure it is sent and received safely.

Richard McKinley-Price, head of benefits management at Jelf Employee Benefits, said: ‘There’s no doubt we are in an era of unprecedented change and the expectations of employers and employees — particularly the increasingly tech-savvy generation — are on the rise. Personify responds to this and with its user-friendly interface and modular design, can be rapidly personalised to meet each of our client’s needs. It benefits from multiple enrolment windows too, so individuals can quickly and easily update their benefits selections as and when it suits them.

‘We believe we’re very well placed to offer this type of cutting-edge benefits platform. We have coal-face experience of the frustrations our clients have had with legacy solutions but we also understand that technology needs to go hand in hand with advice and consultancy — which we already successfully deliver across a range of employee benefits, financial education and executive counselling.’

Paul Goodwin, director of consulting and client relationships at SBC Systems UK, said: ‘The intermediary market is facing a relentless period of change and disruption - those that succeed will understand how to add value to their clients, and will adapt to differentiate their proposition. We are working in a true partnership with Jelf and the Personify platform is a complete collaboration calling upon our technological expertise and Jelf’s deep understanding of the real benefits and reward issues faced by UK employers today and in the future.’
