Jelf Group has added a will writing service to its employee benefits package for all staff, including those at Jelf Employee Benefits.
An extensive communications programme is currently underway to promote the new service to staff, which includes benefit days, educational-based workshops, presentations, question and answer session, with further information posted on the organisation’s intranet site.
Jo Thresher, head of money at work at Jelf Employee Benefits, said: “Will writing isn’t always offered as a core benefit, so we’re pleased to provide this for our staff.
“In our experience, HR professionals who have had an employee die in-service know how hard it can be, and when there is no will it can make a terrible situation even worse.
“Getting a will in place is one of the most important elements of protection planning, and as such it supports our education service. The last thing we want is for people to leave it until it’s too late.”
According to research from Will Aid, published in July 2014, 52% of people in the UK currently have not written a will,
