The relationship between HR and payroll departments in the UK is often far from harmonious, according to a study by HR and payroll provider Snowdrop.
The Love actually survey shows that 60% of payroll professionals believe HR doesn't give them accurate information, while 54% believe HR fails to keep them in the loop.
Despite such criticisms, 84% of the respondents from payroll departments said they valued their HR team highly, while 91% of HR professionals said the same about their payroll colleagues.
