A private members club called H2 Bike Run has opened its doors. Targeted at London commuters who run, cycle or walk to work, it can be included in an organisation’s health and wellbeing offering to its staff.
The core idea behind H2 is to find a solution for commuters who care about health, fitness, the environment or commuting costs allowing them to get to work as conveniently as possible. It offers extensive changing areas with 1,198 lockers, 39 showers, a 240 space bike park, a gym area, sports massage and Spin studio.
Members can freshen up, change, store bikes and clothing, and further improve their fitness and wellbeing through its gym facilities, personal training, and sports massage.
Piers Slater, founder of H2, said: “Our team has received huge demand from corporate clients’ employees. Membership to H2 is an easy way for an organisation to hit carbon reduction targets and please employees all round.
“H2 is working with Transport for London (TFL), Westminster, City Corporation and corporate clients to remove the barrier from exercising to work. H2 will take the cycle and running revolution to the next stage and make car-free London a reality, getting the hearts, minds and feet of Londoners moving.”
