KEY FINDINGS
41% believe government plans will help get the long-term sick back to work.
36% believe they will need to review their absence strategies in response to the government’s review into sickness absence and Welfare Reform Bill 2011.
9% will change the ceasing age for group income protection benefits in the light of the removal of the default retirement age.
55% say the top reason for offering risk and healthcare perks is to provide a duty of care.
74% offer life assurance/death in service as a core benefit only.
29% offer critical illness insurance for employees on a voluntary basis only.
