The Money Statistics
The world of money can be a confusing and overwhelming place. Where can any of us go to for an accessible and concise summary of the state of the UK’s finances and a truly impartial picture of how we are all using our money?
Since 2005, The Money Charity has been producing its monthly The Money Statistics report, presenting the latest available figures around debt, personal finance and much more. Every month our dedicated staff team trawl multiple statistical sources (such as the Bank of England, ONS, UK Finance amongst others) and crunch the data to produce a clear, objective and informative round-up of all the important numbers in the UK.
“I’ve been subscribed since November 2008 and your email is one of the very few things that I read without fail.”
We distribute the report widely, making the data freely and fully available for quoting and citing (as long as we are credited for the production!) This means that The Money Stats are widely used by regulators, trade associations, the media and the third sector, providing lots of useful information about the current situation in the UK. Anyone can sign up to receive the report directly in their inbox each month, catch the release on our socials or access the full report archive on our website at any time - https://themoneycharity.org.uk/money-statistics
“I think it is a rare piece of research and really useful.”
We are constantly seeking to develop and improve the report to give an even clearer picture of the UK, with recent updates including pages which report on financial inclusion, as well as diversification of information to better cover all parts of the UK.
“I find the monthly email really useful in my job role, long may it continue. Many thanks!”
Of course, putting the report together each month takes hours of hard work from The Money Charity's hard-working staff team. If you’d be interested in sponsoring this important resource, or our work more widely, we’d love to discuss this further with you so please do get in touch with us on hello@themoneycharity.org.uk or 0207 062 8933.
