Almost half (40%) of employers plan to review the management and delivery of their employee benefits, according to research by Personal Group.

Its Benefits insights survey, which polled 58 organisations across a range of sectors, also found that 13% of respondents said they were under pressure to reduce the cost of benefits this year.

One-third (31%) of respondents said their benefits programmes are valued by their senior management team as a key driver of business performance.

The key things respondents said they would like to see from their benefits provider are: a good range of products, value for money, meaningful discounts, and clear benefits communications.

The key challenges respondents said they foresee in the next 12 months are: communicating and promoting benefits to make them accessible to all, and demonstrating benefits’ value for money.
