Comedian, actor and writer Suzi Ruffell (pictured) has been revealed as the host of the Employee Benefits Awards 2023, taking place on Friday 23 June.
Ruffell will welcome delegates to the 21st annual awards ceremony, to be held at the Honourable Artillery Company, London. The Employee Benefits Awards is the event of the year for the reward, benefits and HR industry, providing the opportunity to recognise and celebrate those driving excellence through their reward and benefits strategies.
Ruffell has supported fellow comedians Romesh Ranganathan, Alan Carr, Joe Lycett and Kevin Bridges on tour. A regular on TV and radio, she has appeared on Live at The Apollo, The Jonathan Ross Show, Mock the Week, The Last Leg, 8 Out of 10 Cats, and Radio 4’s The Now Show and The News Quiz.
Ruffell also hosts and co-hosts several podcasts including her own, Out, where she talks about the inspiring lives of LGBTQIA+ people, Like Minded Friends with comedian Tom Allen, and Wine Times with Sunday Times Wine Columnist Will Lyons.
Employee Benefits announced the shortlist for 2023’s 23 award categories earlier this month, which includes three brand new accolades: Best public sector benefits, Best benefits to support reproductive health, and Best benefits to support work-life balance and hybrid working. Employers featured on this year's shortlist include Tesco, Natwest Group, Channel 4 and Citi.
The daytime event will include a drinks reception, three-course meal, entertainment and the chance to network with industry professionals. The after-party will include live music, dodgems, a carousel and a big wheel in the venue’s private grounds.
