EB-Awards

It is not too late for HR and reward professionals and their teams to submit entries and be in with a chance of winning a coveted trophy at the Employee Benefits Awards 2020, as due to popular demand, the deadline has been extended to 31 January 2020.

The categories at the 2020 awards cover the full gamut of HR disciplines, from Best healthcare and wellbeing benefits and Best staff travel initiatives, to Best diversity and inclusion strategy and Best use of benefits to support the employee experience.

The award for Best DC pensions strategy, for example, will recognise an employer that has developed an effective strategy that best meets the retirement needs of its workforce; the judges will be looking for entrants to demonstrate thought-through strategies and purposeful objectives.

For Best staff travel initiatives, the judging panel will look for employers that have made staff travel schemes, active commute campaigns, company cars, or any other initiatives effective as a benefit. Employers in this category might wish to showcase how they have aligned staff travel policies with organisational goals, such as sustainability, or employee needs and wellbeing.

Judges considering the Best voluntary benefits award will be searching for an organisation that has either launched or revamped its use of staff-paid voluntary benefits or staff deals; employers should showcase what benefits they offer and why, how the strategy is communicated effectively to staff, and in what ways it aligns with other benefits strategies.

To win the Most motivational benefits award, organisations will have a successful performance management strategy that uses either incentives or motivational rewards to help drive employee performance, engagement or retention. The winning entry will be able to demonstrate how these strategies have been particularly relevant and effective for their workforce.

The awards event is now in its 18th year, and offers employers the opportunity to showcase the significant contribution they are making through their benefits strategies on their workforces.

The winners will be announced at the Employee Benefits Awards and Summer Party, to be held on Friday 5 June 2020 at The Pavilion at the Tower of London, where industry professionals will have the opportunity to network and celebrate at an iconic location.

Make sure your organisation is in with a chance to win by submitting your entry by the final deadline of 11pm on Friday 31 January 2020.
