A top line-up of pensions experts will debate the future sustainability of public sector pensions in the dedicated public sector stream at Employee Benefits Live.

The controversial discussion, to take place at 10.55am on 30 September at the Business Design Centre, Islington, will examine how the sector should react to the high cost of pensions and the backlash from taxpayers if nothing is done.

Experts on the panel

The panel includes Tim Sands, deputy director of NHS pensions at the Department of Health; Joanne Seagars, chief executive of the NAPF; Wolverhampton City Council's Nadine Perrins, a member of the Public Sector People Managers Association's Pensions Group; and Gary Delderfield a partner at Eversheds and the Pensions Management Institute.
