Dun and Bradstreet’s (D&B) Irish office has introduced a quarterly enrolment period for its bikes-for-work scheme.
The scheme launched in January 2011 with the firm’s flexible benefits plan through provider Benefex.
It was previously only open for enrolment twice a year.
D&B’s Irish operation has grown steadily since it was formed in May 2010. The added enrolment periods will create more accessibility to bikes for work since the firm has a number of staff joining each month.
David Long, HR leader for Ireland at Dun and Bradstreet, said: “We wanted to use flexible benefits to give choice to our employees so they could put together a benefits programme that is meaningful to them.
"We recognise everyone is different, and different people have different priorities.”
D&B has communicated the change to its 164 Ireland-based employees through emails, cascading information from team leaders, access to a helpdesk for all queries, workshops, and a link to the Benefex intranet site.
