Members of the trade union GMB who work at courier organisation DHL FastTrack have voted to accept a two-year pay deal.

The deal will award GMB members at DHL FastTrack a 10% pay increase, spread over a two-year period.

The deal also reduces working hours to an average of 45 hours per week, and increases allowances in excess of 27% for time and distance-based work.

GMB members voted to accept the pay deal following a ballot on negotiations held in March 2019.

Steve Garelick, regional organiser at GMB, said: “This is an improvement for members working to help the automotive industry UK-wide, who make the effort behind the scenes to promote new car sales, as well as give valuable ancillary backup.

“We hope others will follow DHL FastTrack’s example in uncertain times.”

DHL was unavailable for comment at the time of publication.
