Denso Sales UK is to publish a range of expatriate preparation guides for Japanese managers moving to the UK in the new year.
The Japanese-owned automotive parts manufacturer, which has 25-30 Japanese engineers in its UK office each year, will publish guides covering a number of topics including how to cope with emergencies.
Judie Cridland, senior administrator at the firm, who is working on the guides, said: "We have always provided a certain amount of information for new employees when they come to the UK, but we are now working on information that will be sent to them before they arrive. We are also working on a booklet, which advises [them] on how to deal with emergencies and maintenance while they are here - including what to do if you have a car accident."
Denso Sales UK, which runs a fleet of 165 cars, provides managers with a fully expensed company car and sends them on Peak Performance's driver familiarisation course.
