STV has launched a new car salary sacrifice scheme for its 15,000 employees, with all new users of the scheme entered into a prize draw to win a satellite navigation system.

The Scottish digital media organisation launched the initiative in February as part of their total engagement strategy, ensuring staff can make informed decisions about their employee benefits.

Partnering with benefits platform Computershare, the car salary sacrifice scheme will run alongside other benefits offered to employees, for example ‘holiday extras’ which allows staff to buy extra days leave and a popular mobile phone scheme. Other rewards include a cash plan, legal services, employee assistance and childcare vouchers.

The new benefit will be communicated to staff using branded employee benefit forms, emails and leaflets.

Lorna Kelly (pictured), compensation and benefits manager at STV, said: “The car salary exchange is a fantastic addition to our existing portfolio of benefits and has been well received by our employees. With the range of vehicles available, the scheme has generated a lot of interest from our staff and I will take delivery of my own new car in the next few weeks.”
