The newly formed association of childcare voucher providers is planning to show a united front to campaign against the government's plans to remove the current tax relief on childcare vouchers.

The association, made up of 16 voucher providers including Kiddivouchers, Accor Services, Grass Roots, Computershare Voucher Services and Sodexo, have met to discuss the best way to fight the government's proposals.

Simon Moore, managing director at Computershare Voucher Services, said: "We are working together with voucher providers as a united front because we want to give a single message and make it as easy as possible for ministers to make an evidence-based decision, that's not helped if a lot of people are saying different things. We are keen to make sure that we communicate a clear message."
