Chester and District Housing Trust has signed up 180 employees to the Stay Active Challenge to help improve the health of its workforce.
The challenge, run by iGlobalFitness, begins on 15 July and will see each team of five employees from various organisations compete against each other to increase their activity and reach the top of the Stay Active Challenge leader board.
Through participation in the challenge, organisations make a donation to ActionAid, as a proportion of every entrance fee will go towards ActionAid’s India Priority Project, which runs drop in shelters for children living on the streets of Andrah Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh in India.
Adam Lask, chief operating officer at iGlobalFitness, said: "The Stay Active Challenge is perfect for companies and corporations like Chester and District Housing Trust who want to inspire employees to become more active without expensive gym memberships.
“The challenge encourages participants to incorporate activity into their daily lifestyles in a fun way making it easy to improve the health and productivity of their workforce.”
