Carrier Transicold has introduced Lifescan health checks to enhance its healthcare offering to employees.
The transport refrigeration equipment firm has offered healthcare assessments to all employees since 2003, but made the decision in summer 2010 to offer Lifescan health checks to further support their health and wellbeing.
The health checks use computed tomography CT technology to detect early signs of disease symptoms. The services that Carrier Transicold employees have access to include a heart scan, chest scan and an osteoporosis scan.
Justin Grace, managing director, Carrier Transicold (UK) said: “We want to help our employees understand their lifestyle and health issues, and to help them with regular medical assessments in a cost effective way."
