The statements, which were launched at the beginning of September with NorthgateArinso, give all 680 employees sight of the benefits they currently receive, as well as those that they could take up, such as basic salary, incentive payments, introduce-a-friend recruitment bonus, pension, group life assurance, healthcare cash plans, childcare vouchers and the cycle-to-work scheme.
The interactive benefits microsite, also hosted by NorthgateArinso, can be accessed via the internet and intranet and provides employees with information on benefits, as well as application forms to join schemes, and an individual’s personalised total reward statement.
Callcredit held roadshows to inform employees about the statements and the benefits site, as well as sending e-shots and including details in its weekly staff newsletter and magazine.
Sian Evans, group HR director at Callcredit Information Group, said: “We wanted to introduce total reward statements as individuals did not fully understand the total cost of their package.
"They were aware of their basic rate of pay but did not have much understanding of other things we have, so we wanted to increase the awareness of the total rewards we offer.”
