Healthcare supplier B. Braun Medical has been accredited with the Payroll Quality Partnership (PQP) from the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP).

The PQP recognises employers that apply best practice in the development of their payroll professionals. It was launched in 2007 to provide a standard for performance management in payroll.

There are currently 50 accredited organisations, including Cambridgeshire County Council, Sherwood Forest NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Mail (HR Services), which have all been re-accredited.

Alex Bailey, remuneration manager at B. Braun Medical, said: “The payroll team at B. Braun is delighted to have been awarded the PQP accreditation from the CIPP.

“We are very proud to have been recognised for the commitment we place in the professional development of our payroll staff and we also feel that this demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the service delivered to all employees in our organisation.”

Lindsay Melvin, chief executive at the CIPP, added: “The PQP accreditation process is part of the CIPP’s ongoing goal to uphold the highest standards in the payroll industry.

“It is because of organisations such as B. Braun’s commitment to its payroll department’s learning and development that this becomes possible.”
