AllianceBernstein has partnered with the Pensions Management Institute (PMI) as the sponsor of its target date funds specialist industry sector (SIS).
The partnership will provide scheme sponsors and trustees with access to current thinking on topical investment issues, with a focus on target date funds.
Information can be accessed through the PMI’s monthly newsletter, member email alerts, online PMI television channel and SIS web area.
The PMI’s SIS partnerships are developed with organisations that are thought leaders and experts in the industry to support innovation and thinking on current, pertinent issues and add value through the delivery of information and insight.
Tim Banks, director, UK and Ireland sales and client relations at AllianceBernstein said: “We are delighted to partner with the PMI and work with it to increase the level of understanding and advantages of target date fund solutions.
“We believe target date open architecture solutions have the potential to simplify communication with members while achieving better investment outcomes.”
Vince Linnane, PMI’s chief executive said: “One of the vital ingredients in restoring the public’s appetite for pensions will be raising the bar in security and transparency across retirement savings options.
“The PMI is pleased to partner with Alliance Bernstein to showcase its work on target date funds which offers innovative solutions which PMI members will want to take on board.”
