Last month, construction group Alfred McAlpine began work on a major project that will integrate its HR and payroll, self service and recruitment services. As a result it will cut down on the number of payroll providers used across its businesses. It currently uses ten different payroll providers and processes 40 sets of payroll. The £1.7m contract with MidlandHR and Payroll Solutions will enable it to have more control over the HR information it holds for its 10,000 employees.
