ADP has run a series of events for employees to support National Payroll Week 2013.
The events, which ran from 2 to 6 September, included training and advice sessions, an education-themed quiz, and a competition for employees to tell ADP about their more memorable learning experience, in line with the 2013 theme of ‘It pays to learn’.
Employees also took part in a number of fundraising activities, including a raffle, a bake sale, and fresh popcorn and candy floss treats. These raised around £1,800 to support ADP’s chosen charity, Cancer Research UK.
Local businesses, such as Shrigley Hall in Macclesfield and The Runnymede Hotel in Egham, donated prizes for the raffle.
Colin Norris, service director at ADP, said: “This is the third consecutive year we have supported National Payroll Week and, yet again, we are proud to announce we beat last year’s fundraising total.
“Our employees in Chertsey and Stockport were extremely supportive and got involved in all of the activities linked to the theme of ‘It pays to learn’, while raising money for ADP’s chosen charity, Cancer Research UK.”
