Virgin Atlantic has signed a new contract to provide medical claims management to flight crew wherever they are in the world.
The airline's 4,000 flight and cabin crew employees will receive with advice and care in the case of a medical emergency, provided by Healix International, while they are working away from home.
The new contract will include an end-to-end service that looks after an employee if they are taken ill abroad, whether they require local medical attention or to be repatriated.
Virgin Atlantic crew will also have access to Healix’s global network of medical providers and hospitals.
