The finalists of the Employee Benefits Awards demonstrated a focus on making savings through benefits, said Susan McGarrity, director of reward and shared services at Doosan Babcock, in an interview with Clare Bettelley, associate editor of Employee Benefits.

“One of the entrants had no budget and, in fact, had to make savings towards its benefits budget,” she added. “The way that it went about that and the results it achieved were truly remarkable.”

The winners of the Employee Benefits Awards 2014 will be announced during a lunch-time ceremony at the Artillery Garden at the HAC, London, on 27 June.
