Nearly three-quarters (72%) of occupational schemes believe that pensions simplification changes have done little to improve financial security for pension scheme members.
The changes have also done little in improving employee take-up or simplifying administration, according to Capita Hartshead's thirteenth annual Pension scheme administration survey.
It also found that a scheme with 3,000 members costs on average £33,000 more to run in-house than if it were outsourced.
