Red Letter Days for Business helps LateRooms.com launch long-service programme

LateRooms.com has launched a new employee long-service programme and re-launched its existing employee recognition initiative with support from incentive and reward experts Red Letter Days for Business.

The hotel bookings specialist has been providing discounted accommodation throughout the UK since 1999 and 15 years on, is celebrating 17 per cent of its workforce being with the company for five or 10 years. Long serving employees will be presented with a £150 or £250 Red Letter Days experience voucher, depending on how many years they are celebrating with the company.

“Considering that we’re such a young business, it’s fantastic to see that so many people have chosen to build their careers here and we’re thrilled to be recognising and thanking so many members of the team for the dedication they’ve shown to LateRooms.com.

”We decided to work with Red Letter Days for Business as its experience vouchers will allow employees to celebrate in a truly memorable way – it’s a great culture match for us,” said Claire Birks, Head of HR at LateRooms.com.

LateRooms.com has also announced the re-launch of its employee recognition programme – Courageous Penguins, named for the few penguins in a colony that have the courage to take risks.

The re-launch also sees the awards become more digital, in line with the LateRooms.com brand by providing an online interface through the business’ Intranet.  The awards seek to celebrate four categories, representing key elements of the LateRooms.com culture: providing business benefit, breaking boundaries, risk and results, and ideas and innovation.

LateRooms.com staff are also rewarded for their achievement with a Red Letter Days for Business ‘lifestyle’ high-street voucher that can be redeemed in over 120 shops, restaurants, gifts, on experiences and with holiday brands.
